Power oil three-phase two-winding transformers of the TMG series with a capacity of 25-400 kVA of a voltage class of 10(6) kV are designed to convert electricity in the networks of power systems and consumers of alternating current with a nominal frequency of 50 Hz under prolonged load in an outdoor or indoor installation. During operation of the power transformer, the core and conductors in the windings are heated. A cooling system is used to ensure safe operation of the transformer. In oil transformers, special transformer oils are used as a refrigerant and high-voltage insulation.

Single-phase transformers of the OMP (OMG) types are designed for converting electricity in 6 or 10 kV networks, powering electrical equipment of railways and other single-phase electricity consumers with the possibility of mounting directly on a support. Transformers are designed to operate in moderate (from plus 40 to minus 45 ° C), cold or moderately cold (from plus 40 to minus 60 ° C) climate. The environment is non-explosive, does not contain dust in concentrations that reduce the parameters of products within unacceptable limits. The installation height above sea level is not more than 1000 m. Circuit and connection group 1/1-0. The nominal frequency is 50 Hz.

A distinctive feature of TMGS transformers is the unique connection scheme of the windings Y/Zn-11, which tolerates an asymmetric load well.
